LR Valstybė – directory of contacts of state enterprises and institutions

www.lrvalstybe.lt is a portal for contacts and useful information of Lithuanian state institutions, where you can find relevant information about various institutions, public procurements, and so on. We created a fast and easy-to-manage web portal with a flexible content management system that is tailored to the client’s needs.

The task and its implementation

The main task was to create a new web portal that was adapted for mobile devices and easy to manage, and that would automate certain processes that had thus far been performed manually.

The client contacted us for the development of a new web portal, since the old one no longer met their needs:

There was no content management system, so it was very hard to administer information;
Updating the information on the portal required a lot of manual work, with no automation or integration;
The website did not have a mobile version, making it very inconvenient for users.

After analysing the specifics of the project and taking into account the client’s needs, we used the Laravel Nova content management system for implementation of the project, which allowed us to save many hours of programming.

Additional components for convenient data and system administration;
Simplified management of advertising positions;
Visitor area where users can subscribe to the public procurement announcements they are interested in;
A new and more modern design adapted for mobile devices, which resulted in a larger number of website visitors and more time spent on the portal.
